In addition to school-based counseling, quality counseling services are provided at our main office and at our counseling center. We serve children, youth, families and adults

  • Drug and alcohol abuse
  • Grief and loss transitions
  • We accept Medi-Cal, private insurance and payments on a sliding fee scale.

PVPSA’s counseling programs help keep students and families healthy and strong. We provide quality counseling services at our main office, located at 335 East Lake Avenue and at our community counseling center at 240 East Lake Avenue to hundreds of children, youth, families and adults each year.

Common clinical issues we address include anxiety, depression, family conflicts adn grief and loss transitions. We accept Medi-Cal, private insurance and payments on a sliding fee scale. We work to make access to mental health services easy for all community members.

Our counseling staff includes licensed therapists and interns on Marriage Famaily Therapy (MFT) and Clinical Social Work (CSW) tracks, as well as youth development specialists.
