The Licensed Clinical Supervisor will report to the designated BBS-licensed leadership staff. The successful
candidate will be a hands-on and participative supervisor and will work with the designated BBS-licensed
leadership staff to ensure effective and efficient offering of services in the Medi-Cal and grant funded mental
health programs. This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced licensed clinician (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC)
with strong administrative and clinical background who desires to positively impact the lives of children,

Pajaro Valley Prevention & Student Assistance, Inc has been the leader of youth prevention and intervention
services in the Pajaro Valley. With three current locations and several satellite centers, PVPSA is committed

Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the designated BBS-licensed leadership staff, coordinates and evaluates the
services and productivity of the Medi-Cal and grant funded counseling programs that will contribute to the
agency’s overall success. May serve as the lead program contact for a small counseling program.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plans, implements, monitors and evaluates performance goals of Medi-Cal and grant funded
clinical programs
• Monitors staff’s productivity and ensures compliance to quality assurance
• In partnership with the designated BBS-licensed leadership staff, develops a training program for
clinical and case management staff.
• Provides clinical supervision to clinical team members
• Acts as liaison between assigned program area and other programs
• Maintains cooperative working relationships with school and community partners
• Participates as a crisis response supervisor for the agency
• Supports the designated BBS-licensed leadership staff on a variety of reports and records for
administrative, evaluative and professional purposes
• Participates in regular collaborative meetings with clinical leadership team
Employment Standards
Knowledge of:
• Principles and practices of planning, organizing and supervising staff and programs
• Utilization of Electronic Health Records System
• Symptoms, behaviors, and diagnostic presentations of mental health conditions, particularly in children
and adolescents
• Principles and methods of counseling and the accepted techniques for assessing psychosocial behavior
• Human behavior and development
• Evidence-based and trauma-informed practices
• Pertinent laws and regulations regarding health and social service programs
• Appropriate community resources
Training and Experience
Requires Licensure, a master’s degree with a Major in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child
Counseling and a minimum of two years’ experience as a Licensed Clinical Supervisor. Must meet the
minimum qualifications of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to supervise MFT or MSW Trainees,
Interns and Associate Social Workers. LCSW highly desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid California driver's license and clearance for agency
vehicle insurance coverage. Fingerprinting for licensing, criminal record clearance and necessary physical
exams are required.

Annual Salary Range: $89,440.00 - $98,607.60 per year ($43.00 - 47.41 per hour).
Initial offer based on experience. There is an additional $2.50 per hour bilingual pay available after passing a
bilingual test. For contract positions, an hourly rate consistent with current industry standards will be offered.
